The teenage years can be challenging. There are tons of changes happening and so many things to juggle: self-care, friends, family, relationships, sleep, school, work, self-image, body-image, career planning, being an adult...the list goes on.
In teen wellness counseling, we will look at all of these life domains. We will consider what is already going well and what could be going better. I will help you prioritize your wellness goals, figure out what is holding you back from feeling the way you want to feel, and help you develop and implement practical strategies to get to where you want to be.
Teen wellness counseling is for you if you are between the ages of 13-19 and you are feeling stuck, numb, bored, or frustrated in any area of your life and want to feel excited about life again.
Session focus may include: self-care practices, emotional regulation, stress management, positive body-image, self-esteem, communication skills, healthy boundaries in relationships, time management, organization skills, independent living skills, vocational exploration, etc.
